9 months old

I can't believe Rex is 9 months old now. After his nine month appt that weekend Rex started to crawl and is into EVERYTHING!!! His favorite food is Mac and cheese and Cheetos he says "hi there" momma dadda baba ans pup. He waves and walks along everything. He loves his wheeler Santa gave him. Loves his mom but gets excited to see his dad. He loves chasing Toby. He thinks it is sooo funny. He wears 12 month clothes. He LOVES my homemade cookies. And loves watching them cook in the oven if he can't watch them he gets really upset. 

Christmas Day

This year was so fun for Christmas. We didn't get to spend a lot of time enjoying Christmas day this year. We had to leave our house by 8 am to go to lee family house, to open presents there. Then we had to rush home to see my dad since he was at my house. We took a nap and went back to lee family house. It was a crazy busy day but over all I know Rex loved it. But lee surprised me this year. He got me a video camera and a kitchen aid. He was sneaky this year and had my sister buy it for me so I wouldn't snoop. little stinker!!

Christmas Eve.

For Christmas eve this year, Lee had to work until noon. In the mean time Rex and I made cookies and played all day. He loves cookies. We went to Lee mom house for her Christmas eve open house then we went down to Spanish fork to go to moms grave light candles and sing a song. I think it should be a yearly thing to go and do something for mom. It was nice but cold. It was really cool how many people would light up everything. After that we went to the Herbert Hansen Christmas party lee and I were invited to go. We went to Jack and Jill bowling it was pretty fun but I was sooo ready to go home.

Ha ha I was expecting Rex to freak out and cry with santa since he is now going through stranger danger and only wants his mom. And just recently is scared of old people haha. But as you can see he was confused on who he is. haha

Family pictures

This year the Strong family had their every other year family pictures. This was the first year we have had it 100% of the family there. My grandma did such a good job arranging everything. This year for pictures was a bitter sweet thing. We had a picture with my dad with all four of us and it was a bitter sweet moment. It was a realization that we now only have one parent left. There wasn't a dry eye to the five of us. 

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was busy at our house. Rex LOVED the food. His favorite was turkey, sweet potatoes and funeral potatoes. He ate just like his mom! Rex currently is 8 months old almost 9. He says Momma, Dadda, Hi, puppy, and bye. He army crawls everywhere and tried to actual crawl. He scoots while sitting in his walker car. And pushes/walks with his stand n play. He has a total of 8 teeth four on top four on bottom. Rex is a complete mommas boy. Most days he only wants mom and mom only. It is a pain most days but I wouldn't change it.
