First Week Home

The first night he was home was so nice. But the second and third night was HORRIBLE. He had a horrible stomache. he was sooo fussy. Luckily I had my mom here he would cry so hard and for so long I put myself into tears because I didnt know what else to do. But the 4th night was wonderful. Slept and ate Slept and Ate. Toby loves him. Toby has done so much better then i thought he would it is a huge relief. But i love my little rex

Rex Logan Williams

Rex Logan Williams Born 3/1/13 @ 5:25pm 7 pounds and 5 oz 19 1/2 inches long I ended up going a week over due with little Rex. Lee and I woke up at 6:30am to go to the hospital. We got there at 7:30 got checked in and they broke my water and started me on pitocin. Let me tell you having them break your water is the weirdest feeling EVER. I was dilated to a 3 1/2 when they checked us the first time. An hour after they did all that stuff my contractions got so unbareable I wanted my epidural right away it hurt so bad. I told the nurse and 2 minutes later the guy giving me the epidural walked right in. Best thing EVER!! They checked me at 11:00 I was at a five. The checked me at Noon i was at a 9. Say what??? 45 min later i was at a 10 and ready to push. I started pushing at 1:20 and pushed till 5:25p. Yeah it took forever. What happened was he was kinda stuck under the pubic bone, Dr ollerton told me so we are going to need to vaccuum him out he is so close, the vacuum will do the trick. Once he put the vacuum on 1 push 2 push 3 push head was out 4 push my baby has arrived. Lee even cut the embilical cord. (he did great during the whole thing he didnt get light headed or faint) Once i saw my baby he was just as perfect as could be. He did have a pretty bad cone. He was wide eyed the entire time they were fixing me up. he was alert and pretty calm, but from when he did cry i was pretty sure he had one big headache.

40 weeks

Yup I am at 40 weeks now.. I went the the hospital Wednesday because my contractions were less then 4 min apart. We got there at 9pm hooked me up to monitors I was having pretty big contractions for a good while and they checked me about 10:30 and I wasn't progressing so they had me walk around for 1 hr. after that hour they checked me again and it guess what still nothing!!!! I was so bummed. So at 12:30 I was discharged to go home. They sent me home with pain medication. They said "this will ease the pain and we will see you back tomorrow we are pretty sure we will see you tomorrow!" When guess what he didn't come the next day, lets just saw I was ticked that they convinced me I would for sure have him. I am still pregnant. So any day but no longer then march 1st that is when they will induce me.

My family update (sorry long post)

So most if you know I am 38 weeks pregnant now. I had my 3rd check now. I am almost dialated to a 2 and 80% effaced now. Rex will be here soon. At my last appointment I told the doctor about some concerns I have had. He sent me home with some amniotic fluid test strips to make sure I am not ruptured. (I was concerned I was) when I got home he told me to test when I had another feel like leaking sensation. I did and sure enough the test came out positive. I panicked and called my doctor (yes I was seen 1 1/3 hour before I called back) they told me to come it right away to do a full exam. I freaked and called lee and my sisters to see what I should do and just to tell lee what was going on he was at work so I just left him a message since he can't have his phone or receive calls to his work #. When I got to the doctor office they were waiting for me. They checked my fluids (ultrasound) and then did a exam which he said it was fine but just to be careful. Which that was a relief because I haven't finished Pre-washing all of the clothes blankets etc. and my house wasn't fully done yet on how I wanted it. Mine and Rex's hospital bags were not packed yet, the car seat is not installed yet, the truck isn't vacuumed out yet. So it was kind of a big smack in the face that lee and I need to get our head in the game, realizing he could really come at any minute.
Since that fun experience lee has became more open about Rex coming here soon. Lee isn't a big fan of holding new babies he is afraid he will break them. (If any
Of you know lee he never really holds babies for that long) and today my sister Stacee came over with her new baby Blake for a little bit and guess who picked up Blake, held him and walked around with him. Yup you guessed it LEE. It almost made me tear up a bit. Thinking wow he really is going to help out and wanna hold out little boy. He even picked out the outfit that he will come home in. And has been helping me with everything. Since he doesn't work one day during the week he says he will watch and take care if baby while I am at work. Which makes me happy. He will be very hands on. Which not a lot if men want to be that way anymore. Since my appointment lee has been wanting to feel Rex move. Instead of me grabbing his hands to have him feel he will do it automatically. Which has been rather fun for the both of us. It really makes me happy to see how much lee has grown up a little bit and knowing that he will be a dad here soon.
I have now had all of my showers now. I had my work shower first which was so much fun and got a lot of homemade stuff which I love!! I had the downs (lee family) shower up in Logan. Got to see his family which we don't see them very often but it was sooo nice to see them all. Then last Saturday we had my friends and family come to my house or the last shower. It was crazy fun and loud. It turned out great. I didn't get any pictures of it though which bums me out. But oh well.
The saddest thing is now I am almost done here and knowing after my 6 weeks of being home with my baby I will have to go back to work full time. It breaks my heart. I wish so bad I could be a part time
Mom at least but right now that isn't an option. One day I hope I will be able the main thing is for me to work right now is best for my family.
Toby I think he is going to have a harder time then I thought. When lee was holding Blake Toby didn't take it too well. He paced outside and kinda threw a tantrum haha little punk. He will come around and get used to him.
Sorry my post is random and doesn't make sense sometimes I like to think that this blog is a journal for when I cannot sleep and I love having a blogs I down the road I can remember things and look back and read them.
Haha sorry long post but I had a lot if updates to do. :)

Christmas

This year is the first Christmas in our house and our last Christmas for it just being lee and I. It's super weird to think that next holiday season we will have a little one. Here are the pictures of stuff. I don't know why I like to post things like this but I do. Toby stuff won't be pictured because he opened his gifts after I was done taking pictures. It was fun this year with Toby. We had him open all of his gifts literally unwrap them. It was soo funny.

Due date...

When I went to my 32 week appt (but I am really 33.4 weeks pregnant) the doctor told me that several weeks ago they changed my due date to feb 21 instead of the 23. Which is weird but its only 2-3 days difference. I am starting to get more things done. I now have my crib which is set up but it is not placed where I want it. I have a lot f things to get done but its a pain working full time cooking and cleaning, I wear myself out by the time
I have a second to do they things I need to do.

This month is going to be really busy for me. I have something to do every weekend from here on out until mid February. Which is kinda stressful. But I will get it done. It will just take time.

When I think about Toby and the transition to the baby when he gets here, I think it will be rough at first but he will be really good. Toby is extremely lovable and LOVES giving kisses. So my sister Liz bought me a swing for my baby which is high enough where Toby won't lick my baby to death. I am pretty sure it will take a couple days for Toby to get somewhat used to the baby, but overall he should be very good.
